8 January 1944 damaged in an accident under the command of Elmer F. Hauser at Borizzo, Sicily with 45 Transport Squadron, 316 transport group, while based at Borizzo.
Repaired and based at Cottesmore from 15 February 1944.

To French Airforce as 690508, 348280, 48280 (rumoured to have been used by President de Gaulle)

To Air Burundi
To Force Armée du BurundiSold to Mr. Dominique du Blonde.
Prepared for restoration and moved off airport into Bujumbura.
Sold to Mr. Marconi 2005 (owner of the Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika)
Scrapped off airport at Bujumbura.
One engine on display at the hotel
Aircraft containerised and prepared for export to France in 2003.
It was, however, detained by customs and remains at the border at Kayanza, northern Burundi (2009).
