One of three Zimbabwean Dakotas flown to Wonderboom during the summer of 2001/02 and stored.

 

The three were C/N 26437 (7134) C/N 32651 (7039) C/N 42978 (7310)

 

C/N 32651 (7039) and C/N 42978 (7310) were relocated to Gert de Klerk's Freeway Airfield, Kromdraai, in August 2009. C/N 26437 (7134) remained at Wonderboom.



Stored by Gert de Klerk near Kromdraai, north of Pretoria. Ex SAAF 6874 (1)

The aircraft on the right is C/N 42978 ex 7310 Air Force of Zimbabwe and if you look carefully you will see that it has a passenger door and not a cargo door. There is also a baggage compartment door to the rear of the passenger door.
