Later to 35 sqn SAAF
December 1995 sold to South African Airways and registered ZS-BXJ, named "Zwartkop"
Flown to the then Jan Smuts Airport from Cape Town.
Stripped for restoration and conversion to DC-3C standard.
1999 aircraft moved by road from Johannesburg International Airport to Air Force Base Swartkop, to South African Historic Flight.
2003, used as spare parts to repair ZS-BXF. On 21 November 2003 ZS-BXF carried out a wheels-up forced landing on an open field 2 nautical miles east of Lanseria duel to fuel starvation..
Sold to Andre Swanepoel 2007, moved by road to Brentwood Park Benoni, on static display.
